The idea of an emergency facility had been long in the making. Veterinary clinics in the Fargo-Moorhead area wanted a place where clients could go no matter what time of the night and their patients could receive the best care possible. That dream became a reality when the Red River Animal Emergency Clinic opened its doors on December 22, 2005. We strive to provide the highest level of emergency and critical care services for Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding areas.

The Red River Animal Emergency Clinic is staffed by a veterinarian and veterinary technicians at all times. As an emergency and walk-in clinic, no appointments are necessary. If your pet is critically ill, they will be examined by a veterinarian immediately. If possible, we encourage you to call ahead and let us know you are coming. This allows us time to prepare the supplies or equipment needed to take care of your pet.

We allow you to visit your pet while they are hospitalized, though we ask that you limit your visits to short intervals as not to interfere with necessary treatments.
